General Description: Rare Breed Large (2.2Kg-2.7Kg)  Bantam (510g-680g)
These attractive birds come originally from the Netherlands from the same area as Lakenvelder cattle, which have the same distinctive black head, neck and tail. This colouring is unique in chickens. They are active birds which like to forage and are also good fliers for chickens. These are Rare Breed birds possibly due to the difficulty in breeding the solid black colour in the neck and tail
